- I finally got around to trying out DRM. I fired up my RX340 and got the freeware program "Dream" installed. I have been listening to a station from Canada at 9800 kHz for the past several hours. I am

- Carl, This is probably a stupid question, what has to be done to get the output of the RX-340 into the PC to do the DRM demodulation? What output(s) of the RX-340 do you use? Where is the download si

- Paul, All you have to do is take the audio from pin 2 and ground from pin 1 of the DB15 on the RX340 and run it into the PC sound card. You may have to reduce the output level from the RX340. I used

- As Carl points out, the DRM transmissions sound extremely good coming from the RX-340. Carl's software makes DRM interfacing into the RX-340 a snap. With one "right click" of the mouse, all RX-340 re

- You can use an rx320, Pegasus, or Jupiter for DRM by making a small mod to bring the 12 kHz IF out to the input of your PC sound card. But the Orion has a 14 kHz IF and so cannot be used for DRM with

- I just got the Dream program working with my Pegasus. I was able to monitor R. Kuwait (in Arabic). In about 45 minutes, R. China should be on in English. As for the Orion's 14 kHz, I wonder if it co

- Yes, I now think the 14 khz IF in the Orion would be fine. I experimented with the RX340 and found I could move 3 khz either side and Dream would still decode. The Dream decoder displayed a frequency
