I never had a Omni and I just sold my Paragon, which was an excellent performer. If I were you however I would consider getting a RX-320D which decodes DRM, or consider trading for a Jupiter or a Peg

Seems like the dashes are too short on the 6's internal keyer. Throws off my timming and sound jerky on the air. Maybe it's not exactly 3:1 or maybe the rest of them are all off, dunno. Steve N4LQ --
