This will probably bring some sneers from those who wrench tighten their UHF connectors.  I only use Amphenol connectors and years ago purchased a half dozen Amphenol 083-55PApush-on SO-259  adapter/

I live in SW Michigan, and use those on some of my antennas in summer time. I have the AlphaDelta switches, also, and use a grounding buss to direct the antennas to ground when not in use or when ant

I, too, use only Amphenol or other name brands like Kings. There are a lot of cheap import PL-259s out there that are just plain no good. I remember some that had plastic insulators which melted when
