The 9Mhz filter in the Corsair II is soldered in. I want to install socket pins to convert it to plug-in. Can anyone confirm that the correct pin diameter is 1mm? There are both 1.0 and 0.8mm socket

1mm is very close to .040" the diameter of miniature tube pins. And of 18 gauge (AWG) copper wire. The difference is .00063" The difference between 20 gauge copper wire and 0.8 mm is about the same.
