Obvious question - has he tried adjusting the "SWR Set" control to at least 3/4 scale? Also, which scale is he looking at? If he's got it set for SWR, and the antenna is alerady low SWR, obviously th

And what kind of transmitter is he using? Is it a QRP rig? With my 238 ten watts of RF from the transmitter will not get the SWR FWD reading to half scale with the SWR SET at maximum sensitivity. __

Just checked my 238 tuner. With 10 watts applied, FWD/REF switch released, 2KW/200W switch released, POWER/SWR switch depressed, SWR set control max clockwise, I get 1/2 scale on the meter. Looks lik
