Does anyone have a method to create the chrome knob inserts that get glued to the center of the Corsair II knobs? Evidently there are NOS knobs available without the inserts and I'm wondering how to

I have used aluminum shiny foil in the past for knob inserts. You have to handle the aluminum carefully. Start with a new roll and keep tension on it to avoid wrinkles. Once it is cut and inserted, r
