the only way I can get it out of transmit is to power the rig off and then back on. I do not suspect the ptt switch of sticking. You could prove or disprove that by unplugging the microphone, before

More info: I haven't tried connecting a PC at all yet. Just tried a master reset, no effect. The OS Version is 1.26 b7 11.11.2003 It seems to happen on a longer transmit even into a dummy load. TX 90

That sounds like RF is getting back into the Jupiter and keeping it keyed. Check all your coax shields for a good ground connection and all normal RFI methods to alleviate the problem. 73, Carl Mores
