I have also used the BA9SF-W-12VAC LED Lamp ($1.98) in my Corsair-II. As I ran the Corsair-II for sixteen hours a day, seven days a week until recently, I've run several of these LED lamps to failure

You might be stuffing too much current through the LEDs. You can buy LEDs for about three cents each on eBay. Put a resistor in series of about 200 or 300 ohms and have a wonderful pilot lamp for nex
