Thanks everyone for the replies. I went back and checked my Orion this morning. I had a suggestion to make sure NR and NB were off - they were. This morning, everything sounded fine and I tried sever

Yep, the few AM'ers and SWBC guys among us have been whining about this with T-T since the rig first came out. Last I heard it was a DSP (as opposed to control code) issue. Hopefully it will one day

Mark, My ORION has sounded a bit distorted on MW AM from time to time. I believe the AGC threshold setting has something to do with the audio quality on AM. Also the new RF gain feature should help o
