I have a TT 962 power supply that came with the Omni 6+. It has an 24v ac component on the output that I believe indicates the filter caps are bad or perhaps the full wave rectifier. Anyway, I have n

John, how old is your 962? You an easily check the bridge rectifiers with power off, and capacitor discharged through a resistor, individually. With a VOM, or DVM on ohms X 100, you should have low r

Correction on my part. As I had a 962 to repair this evening, I remembered that procedure I had given is for the 961 power supply where the filter is mounted on a angle bracket. The 962 has the filte

It might be noted that an open in one of the bridge diodes may not cause a fuse blow; but increased ripple and hum may be seen. When testing electrolytics individually, it is easier to use the X100 o
