I changed the PBT/BW step to be 50 Hz because I found the 10 Hz steps to be two slow to adjust and I don't feel I need so much granularity. However, it seems that this change also affects the step ra

I hadn't tried that before, but it appears they are indeed coupled, at least in the most current FW release. Either RIT ought to be fixed at 10 Hz (probably not the best answer), have it's own step

Unfortunately, they seem to be coupled. And encoder resolution on Orion is rather poor: * VFO encoder ~64/256 steps per revolution, compared to ~250/1000 on F1000MP * RIT encoder ~10/40 steps per re

It appears the manual notch is also linked to the same step as the PBT/BW, I've found that to be a real problem, sometimes you can go right by the notch freq you want.. Tim NZ8J -- Original Message -
