Hello, as I'll own an ORION soon, I have to think about integrating it into my shack.. Well... and that's the problem: as many others, my PC has only one serial port, which is already in use for PR.

Hello Ulrich, I am running a Jupiter and a Laptop with XP home. I do not have a serial port on the laptop but had to use a USB to Serial Adaptor (Belkin) and it works fine with my computer to radio.

Try www.quatech.com they make the adapters you mention. Or better yet they make a series of PCI boards which add four or more serial ports to the PC. Most USB adapters are iffy at best. Some work som
