I tend to think it is more than the antenna.  In my Omni, if the drive is high I get an ALC light. Are you seeing that with drive set high?  Sent from BlueMail _______________________________________

A final can blow and let the driver do the tx, albeit at a low power. I would use a wattmeter on CW first, see if it is the final or perhaps a bad mic connection.  Might want to reseat any modules an
