I just received a new dc connector for the back of the Omni. Now, just how do I go about removing the old one and installing the new? The leads are so short you could never cut them. Can a hot solder

If it's a MOLEX connector, you can use a small screwdriver to bend the tab that holds them in so they pop out the other end. You go in from the "front" and they pop out the back. You can practice on

A piece of brass tubing in the appropriate size from your local hardware store will also work slick as snot. If you are too cheap to purchase a piece, some of the brass tubes inside a pen will work.
