I take it the Omni D problem is being described when it acts as S meter. It could be a bad capacitor or AGC circuit problem. Does it work in SWR mode? Stuart Rohre K5KVH _____________________________

Hmm, if it sometimes works both ways, I would use high itensity light and a magnifier to examine, (and then touch up) all solder joints in the metering circuits. You may have a bad connection to the
