- Andy, By far, the easiest way is to use any standard serial (straight through) cable, either 9 pin or 25 pin, and your local Radio Shack has an adapter that with adapt one side to be what you need. I

- for in I would map the DB 25 pins to the corresponding pins. You are only talking about 3 wires. Do not connect all of the wires to the radio! It uses them for its own purposes. Look in the manual. _

- You really do not want to do that. Take a look at fIGURE 5-10a ON PAGE 5-9. Note that only pins 1,2,3 and 7 areused. here is a good reason for that. Look at paragraph 6-24and table 6-1 on page 6-99.
