Good advice from Don. Also, don't adjust anything until you first adjust the BFO oscillator trimmer capacitors, described in the manual under TX Audio Board. Master oscillator adjustment is described

And while you are checking the BFO frequencies, you may want to check your carrier suppression as well, esp. on LSB. All three Omni rigs in the shack only had -20dBc suppression on LSB until the two

OMNI VI+ rules for what I do - plain and simple. I have installed 2.8 Khz SSB filters and performed N1EU's audio tap.  This is fed into my computer soundcard and the VI+ sounds as good if not better

The 10 Mhz reference oscillator (the TCXO you just replaced) and the BFO both have to be set correctly. There are several BFO adjustments and some of them interact with each other. So you may have to
