My new Omni VII has been on the desk for about 2 weeks. It gets used several hours per day. I find that it is solid as a rock, both frequency and power. I've not found the first problem, glitch or is

Suggest checking the DC voltage as it enters the rig (on the plug) for low voltage or voltage drop on XMIT. Simple to check and simple to fix with larger wire. Should be almost no drop of voltage at

I also have an Omni vii...after calling TT's tech support to affirm that chassis is common to power supply negative ground I made my own power connectors...just simple spade lugs...typical for automo
