- All three are great CW rigs. I find that with the Omni VII I can tune it right on the other station's' frequency just by ear and not doing anything special. You won't go wrong with any of the three.

- Very subjective. My Orion II is very good but I do find my Icom Pro III to have better intelligibility in many cases. (SSB) All with identical external speakers/headphones. I will have to say it also

- When comparing two rigs in this matter, the first thing I do is run the audio through pc soundcard spectrum analyzer and adjust the radios so their passbands are as close as possible using bandwidth
