Mike, Download the instructions for making the V2 mod to the Orion 1. It will tell you how to remove the front panel. Once you have it off, you can see the battery in the frond panel. It is about a h

Here's a follow up to the Orion battery issue. My Orion crashed while I was loading version 2.59. The radio would not boot, nor could I reload the firmware (any version). Any attempt to do so simply
