I'm usng the 1.372 software and suddenly, the RIT and XIT do not work. They do not work on either the main or the sub. I've performed the full reset to no avail. Help. 73, Tim _______________________

Mine does that every once in a while. In my unit, power up/down has always cleared the problem. Sometimes a band change will also clear it up. Odd problem. The other thing that is odd about my Orion

Tim might be that the encoder knob does not have enough distance between it and the panel. Mine did the same thing and when I called TT that is what the told me to increase the distance from the pane

My RIT was intermittent when the rig was less than a year old. I removed the front panel and hit the RIT pins with my soldering pencil and some solder. One pin was a bit difficult to get the solder t

I also had problems with the RIT/XIT control. It had problems from the time the Orion was new. In the early days I was told to pull hard on the control - that helped a little. Later I called Ten-Tec
