I am curious as to what others have found to be good settings using the "variable threshold" method of peaking weak signals. About .72 mv seems best for me on 7 mhz. I use 10db decay - CW operation,

Ken, For what it's worth, on 40m CW I usually use 0.50 uV threshold, 5 dB/s decay and 0.51 s hang time. That is with version 2.037j. I don't operate 40m SSB. Hope this helps. 73, Ray W2RS ___________
