The Orion 1 had LED illumination, one of the first Ham radios to do so, I have never needed to open an Orion 2 display but I doubt that Ten Tec would have stepped backwards this far unless they had a

I have replaced the LED illuminators with new ones fro LCD Parts. I am told that the same illuminators are available more cheaply but I have had good support from LCD Parts and they offer a drive boa
