I just received a new Orion II and have some observations on the NR and Manual Notch functions. The NR seems to work better on CW than SSB in my case, although in both instances the audio is distorte

Yes, that is the way the Orion II and Orion version 2 work now. The notch not being is the AGC loop is being worked on by tentec. I hope they can also improve the NR function and get it back to the V
