Steve I think you hit the nail on the head ! I can see and understand the hi/lo cut on the ts 940 but not on the Orion II a simple more direct display of the audio and agc would be much appreciated .

Hard to explain ..... seems to hear less static .. I don't have to turn several knobs to get the audio right I just put it on a freq and I am good to go . when the OII is tuned it does sound better f
