Reading the posts about Orion freezes, burps and anomalies, with the usual fix being a power reset, made me wonder... That is how my keyer reacts to RFI. Is it possible these issues are not software

Another source of RF into the Jupiter (maybe the Orion too) is via the TX EN amp control line. I had a devil of a time solving RFI screwing up the Jupiter when connected to a Herc II. Ten-Tec Service

Jason, Connect a 30 ft. long piece of copper wire to the ground post of the ORION and run it along the floor inside the house, wherever you can. Doesn't matter if you have to zig-zag it. It will work

Rick, Here is what I used to bypass the speaker output jack on my RX-350D aka JUPITER rcvr. 0.1 uF disc capacitors go to ground from each of the three pins on the jack that have traces going to them.

How can one have RFI on receive? IS there another rig on in the same shack or nearby repeater? Or a broadcast station down the street? The RF levels in the receiver would not affect the computer circ
