When running at indicated PWR levels above "70" the meter needle pegs to the right when the transmitter is keyed on CW. I'd be grateful to know of a damping technique to remedy this. 73 Tim Colbert K

The needle on my Orion II goes to the peak value, whatever level that may be depending on the power level, and holds at that peak while I continue to xmit, without moving between dits and dahs. It is

I think there are adjustment pots in the ADC/DAC, R337 and R340 of the A7 section (schematic 10) that effect the meter, although it may effect the S-Meter reading too. Best check with the factory, bu
