I run my TS-B2000 Kenwood on am driving the Centurion at about 375 watts of carrier and unless I tell anyone they say they do not know it is not plate modulated. Actually it has better low frequency

The Orion is an excellent AM exciter. I use mine in that mode driving an AL-1200, audio from a Symetrix 528E and EV RE-20 through the AUX input. It automatically sets the output power to maintain 100
