It appears that pressing the AF push button when in menu mode causes the volume level value to get scewed up. It isn't necessary to exit menu mode to hear the results. Just rotate the gain control af

I noticed that you don't need to exit the menu but wanted to retrace exactly how I did it. I accidently hit that AF button instead of the menu to excape the menu then touched the AF gain and WHAM!! M

Well, I disagree. Let me say this politely....that is a USER problem because you should NOT be using the AF control while you are in the MENU. There is absolutely no reason to do that, that I know of

I don't agree at all. There's nothing illogical about hitting the mute button while in menu mode. The receiver shouldn't respond that way, and this clearly should be on the list of things to straigh
