That slight tick is the actual frequency being changed. The frequency of the pegasus moves in 2.5 khz steps. DSP takes care of frequency changes smaller than 2.5 khz. You will only hear it on a very

Thanks Carl, Where did you learn so much about this stuff :) It is not too bad, but I find it annoying. I can hear it even if the band is not quiet. Sounds like a small electric discharge each 2.5khz
