Is it the same on all bands? When going to TX, do you hear the antenna relay clicking? (Listen very closely as this radios really is very quiet.) I have seen the coils go open on the reed relays TT u

That sounds like the antenna relay. However, those relays often failed anyway. I have a bunch of them from an Omni 5 junker. Can you send me a photo of the one in your radio so i am certain.? Gary __

No, because he is seeing full current draw in transmit. The power is being produced by the final amp. just not getting to the antenna jack, signifying a bad d/R relay. Gary __________________________
