Dennis - When you press the MAIN or SUB audio buttons - do you see the line change on the screen where it shows audio gain setting ? ALso looking at A12 81915 "Rear Connector Board" , without tracing

Thanks for the suggestion, Hank. Nothing happened when I pressed the MAIN or SUB audio buttons. I did check the J8MT2 and it was loose a bit. I worked with the plug and tightened it but to no avail.

I've had this problem before. It has occurred when unplugging the headphones. I just plug and unplug the headphones and it comes back. The bypass/disconnect in the headphone jack is apparently flaky.
