I hate electronic stuff with fans in them and my Astron supplies both have bothersome HUMS. I want a power supply that makes NO noise. No hum, no fan, just 20-25 amps of 13.8vdc. Any suggestions? Oh

I have the Astron 20 and Astron 50M and both of them hum. I think as they get older they tend to loosen up. Maybe I'm over sensitive to LF AF. I even bought a new PC to get away from fan noise but no

When the Macintosh came out it had no fan. Several third party clip on fans were sold, but the best option was an ultrasonic "butterfly fan" that went inside. Possibly you could find a similar one. A

Just as a side note, The Astron tends to vibrate the top cover, I put my Can-Tenna on top, it is enough to stop the hum. Just about any weight will do. Best 73's Rich K5SF From: "n4lq" <n4lq@iglou.co
