Hi again, In my post on the subject awhile ago, I typed this: Actually, it seems to be just the oposite. The described fix for VI+ and 87A QSK seems to require that the Omni AGC be set to OFF !? What

You're right Jim. Something is amiss. Have you disconnected the "Y" cable and restore your jumper to eliminate the new circuit as the potential problem? Start there if you haven't already done so. Fr

Jim, I just checked my 87A / Omni 6+ mod and mine works QSK just fine with AGC on or off...in fast or slow QSK...doesn't matter. Not sure what is going on there Jim ??? Best, Terry - W6RU -- FAQ on W
