A 'bungee cord' section of the dial cord pulls the pointer to the left. In time, the elasticity is lost. Ten-Tec will send you a new piece of bungee cord. You will NOT need to restring the dial, just

Jim, another old Indian trick -- to replace that bungee cord, you will have to take off all the knobs and remove the front panel. When you finish, you will have to put the dial skirt back on the shaf
