- I have a question about how to remove the existing speaker that failed (open speaker coil) The speaker periphery is cemented in somehow and seems impossible to remove. Any helpful ideas? Thanks / 73,

- Hi Perry, I cut the main body (the four flat arms) with a dremel tool, leaving a thin ring only. Then I (very) carefully "peeled off" that ring. If you do it hastily you'll distort the aluminium part
