My new Omni C has VFO problems. I turn the knob but the VFO doesn't always move. I assume this is that TenTec VFO problem y'all have posted about so often. Until now, I simply ignored all those posts

The solution is to order a PTO rebuild kit from TenTec for about $25 or so and follow the directions that come with it. After you've done one like this, you're an expert. If you are handy with electr

The other solution is to be sure to get them to include instructions for removing the PTO from the rig. On the Omni-C, that isn't hard if you know what to take loose. Would be tougher if you didn't .
