That depends on how the RCA jacks are attached to the rear panel. If a PC sub-board is attached directly to the RCA jacks, it's not as simple as unsoldering a wire pair. Looking at the Eagle's rear

That's a great idea.... my Corsair II was modify exactly that way as suggested by one of the TenTec service technicians. Its an easy mod, just clip the + 12 VDC to one jack and tape the wire and the
