I bought a nice Ten Tec power supply, a Model 961. I didn't get a manual with it, so I will have to ask the list for an answer to my question. I always thought that with the Omni and Corsair radios,

Steve - Ten-Tec says it is best to turn on the PS before turning on the rig. My OMNI 6+ always gets switched on after I turn on the PS first. I don't think it is a good idea to bypass Ten-Tec's advic

I suggest that you not do that. It brings mains voltage into the radio. This was done on earlier radios but discontinued in later radios that have processors. It is necessary to allow the Vcc to stab
