Hell all ! I have a Jupiter and am considering getting a Ten Tec model 253 auto tuner. I know this tuner will not switch bands automaticly but will it still tune with just a push of the tune button ?

I have had my 253 for a number of years, in order to change its conditions, either the Tune button must be pressed, or the Antenna switch has to be changed. If you don't have it connected to the RS-2

John, I have auto bandswitched a Hercules II and 253 tuner for several years with a Pegasus using N4PY control software. The band info comes from the computer LPT port into a band decoder. Works just
