Yeah, I wouldn't call the Triton a cheap rig...even though it is only $200 +/- now. It was a top of the line set in its day. I remember reading Triton ads as a kid, totally amazed at DIGITAL READOUT!

My comparison was between the Ten Tec Corsair II, Paragon II and my Kenwood TS-450S. The Ten Tec's are better receivers and you don't need any more then a coax switch to make the comparison. I'm a EE
