This should not be happening. I suspect a memory corruption in the Orion. I recommend doing a full reset to the Orion. 1) Power off Orion. 2) Power On holding the VFO B LCK button. 3) Continue holdin

Now that being the case, as your configuration drops the first dash of your call, why not add a "T" in front of your call. It would then drop the "T" and send your call. TK2XN. If the "T" is missing

Are you storing the message in memory by keying with the paddle or using software to program the memory? If you are hearing the chopped character in the Orion monitor have you verified that it is act
