Hi Ken, A couple of years ago, Ten Tec recommended I replace C15, a 5 kV doorknob, with a 15 kV 400 pF doorknob to make the Titan's tuning more stable on 160. I bought the capacitor from Ten Tec and

Be sure the doorknob capacitors have an RF current rating. A pF value and a DCV value isn't really adequate for most RF purposes. Try using mica transmitting capacitors for the application.. Yes, the
