I am trying to help a local friend get one of these going, and think we have made good progress. Can someone tell me if they see ANY screen current with no drive applied to the amp? The HV looks good

What's the mfr/part number of the lamp? Is it a standard industry type? Older Ten Tec gear (Titan 425, Herc I, Herc II, 229 and 238 tuners) all use standard bayonet lamps that are easy to source from

Hi Jim..... They're hardwired, so I should probably go with the LED's, since they have a longer life. TT only gives their part number and I have not yet pulled the meters. ___________________________

My titan III screen meter, with no drive, is about 1/8 inch above zero. In normal operation, I actually show a very small amount of negative grid current at maximum output - needle never goes below 1
