Hi Drew The Triton IV Digital is a great rig. It has a very quite front end and transmits a clean cw note. It can still be fixed by the good folks at Ten-Tec. The QSK it the best. I have used the old

The 544 was my first Ten-Tec. I still own it, along with four other Ten-Tecs. For my money, the 544 is the very best radio ever made by anybody. It is a true Zen radio -- it vanishes during use. Mike

Yep, but it wasn't the first.... guess the Triton 1 and 2 were the first, (other than their QRP predecessors) arriving about 1971. Really pushing the state of the art back then, and even now.... long

ah perry... both the triton 1 and triton 2 had to have their receiver's front ends peaked... you still had to "tune the front end" on both of those radios. they did not have the completely "NO TUNE"

John, theres a good chance there is nothing wrong with the counter. You didnt say if the rig transmits or receives. Does it? Youre missing the input from either the PTO or the osc/mixer. I cant recal

John, The problem may be in one or more bandswitch wafers. As these rigs get older, the bandswitches can get intermittmet. Try the VFO In/out jumper on thke rear as another poster has mentioned. If t
