Ed, I got it to work. Did as you told me and switched it to electronic switching. Then rewired the mike plug. However, when I went to Radio Shack to replace the battery I was told it is now a special

The batteries were 7 volts and the Turner mics were ok, when properly adjusted. White is audio Shield is ground Red and black are switching That's the way I remember it. 73, Gene Hawkins KA5CNT _____
