I have a 263 PTO that needs to be rebuilt. Is the reduction drive part of the VFO rebuild kit? What does the Ten Tec rebuild kit consist of? Do I have to get a different overhaul kit for the rebuild

Dan, Before you get too far and replace parts that may not need it; try this: Get some Triflow, an oil product that also contains Teflon in the form of microscopic ball bearings. Your drive is frozen

Dan; My kit had the inner shaft and the piece that attaches to the front of the enclosure. I had to reuse the ball bearings and the brass outer shaft that extends back into the PTO gear. Also include

I always drape the bearing being flushed with a shop Chem Wipe or Kleenex type paper (absorbent towel) to catch anything flushed out, and keep it from contaminating something else. Use the slim tube
