Apparently I'm a little confused about the colors and differences between 238 and 238A tuners. Specifically what I need is the *style* that matches the Omni V and VI front panels, with the dark wind

The "238" should match your Omni V and VI two-tone grey combination. I had one from the 1998 timeframe that matched. I can't recall if the earlier (brown) version had a different part number or not,
