Has anyone here used the Yaesu FTV-1000 transverter with an Orion? I see the Orion II transverter output level is a bit high compared to the transverter input spec. Any other concerns? K8AC _________

The transverter output level on the Orion is controlled by the Orion drive level. You can reduce the Orion drive to match what the transverter needs. Carl Moreschi N4PY 121 Little Bell Dr. Hays, NC 2

True, but the Orion II manual says that you can adjust the output to the transverter only from +5 to +15 dBm, and the FTV-1000 needs only -13 dBm for full output. The Yaesu transverter may operate a
