That's because TT included a 5-pin DIN cable, not a 7(?)-pin, which the jack makes available. I felt the same way, but I bought the full pinout cable that someone posted here a while back (I've lost

Look at the newest (May) QST. The LDG ad includes their new "RCA Box". This is a breakout box that (I believe) that takes the input from the accessory plug of just about any radio on the market today
